While confidentiality is a cornerstone of our practice (beyond the limits of confidentiality), some of our family services operate as an open process, meaning that information may be shared with relevant parties such as counsel and the courts when directed. Be sure to speak to your therapist about which services are confidential and which operate as an open process.

The right service for you depends on your unique situation. We recommend scheduling a consultation to discuss your needs and challenges, allowing us to guide you toward the most appropriate service.

Our team can offer services provide individual support in the context of co-parenting work. In high-conflict situations, services may sometimes be court-ordered. If your co-parent has not engaged in the process, this is something you would need to discuss with your legal counsel. Our team cannot reach out to your co-parent to initiate services; they or their counsel must contact us directly.

To begin services, both parents must contact and schedule a free consultation. If both decide to proceed, they will receive an agreement via Jane; these links are also available on our website under resources for review. If there are lawyers involved, our team may initiate a call with counsel to address any concerns, or counsel may request a call.

Before services commence, each parent must send a retainer to retainer@reflectioncentre.com, as outlined in the agreement, noting that payment responsibilities may vary by family.

From here, each parent will schedule an individual session with the chosen therapist. Co-parenting sessions will proceed based on client readiness and therapist recommendations.
